Shattered

This is a mixed media artwork that is a self portrait. This shows the firelike burning pain and brokenness that I feel from multiple health issues as well as tragedy of events that I have endured the last couple of years. It also however is a reflection that even though I am broken, I will not just survive but I will make a difference for my family and my students.
