Emerging

This watercolor of a Canadian goose preparing to emerge from it's wetland pond was inspired by visits to the North Chagrin Reserve near my home in Cleveland. But the title's meaning is two-fold, for it also represents a personal milestone for myself as an artist. This was my first larger scale watercolor, and gave me the sense that I really was an "emerging" artist.
